"Artists are businesses, they're not just artists"

If there's one thing we know about business, it's that every business needs a strong management team to grow.

The Northside Group is not a traditional music management and media entertainment company. Through our respect for both the creative and business side of music, we embrace independent artistry and empower artists to tell their story, the way they want it to be told.

At The Northside Group, we believe that giving back to the community in which we operate is just as important as our core business. Through our Northside Foundation, each year we are dedicating a certain portion of our time, capital, and resources towards the initiatives that we believe in.

As a company founded by a young team passionate about music, we are hoping to make an impact through creative arts and youth entrepreneurship initiatives. In the future, we hope to establish an open-fund geared towards supporting music initiatives, such as democratizing access to music creation and recording studios for youth across Canada. Music being a universal language and a way of life for many of us, we believe everyone should have an equal opportunity to learn, create, and share it.

If there are any initiatives or causes in which we can get involved, please email our team at community@thenorthsidegroup.ca.

Join Our Team

We are a young, growing company looking to expand our team. Our culture is based on respect, excellence, and collegiality. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability. We also do not care about what school you went to (or if you went to school), what your grades were, or if you're young without several years of experience in the entertainment space (as a young team, we understand that everyone has to start somewhere). The five things we do care about:

  1. Do you represent our values, i.e. do you hustle hard, are kind to the people around you, and are inspired to make an impact?

  2. Are you passionate about both the creative and business side of music, media, and entertainment?

  3. Are you entrepreneurial and willing to jump fences to get to the finish line?

  4. Are you a lifelong learner and willing to take on new roles and responsibilities as we grow?

  5. Do you have a history of generating positive results?

If you would like to join our team, please apply to our general application by emailing your resume, work samples (if applicable), and a short message on your ideal role and workday to careers@thenorthsidegroup.ca.
